According to reports, the Lakers offered Andrew Wiggins to the Warriors in exchange for D’Angelo Russell.

According to recent rumors, the Los Angeles Lakers reportedly discussed trade options with the Golden State

Warriors, proposing Andrew Wiggins in return for D’Angelo Russell. According to Jason Timpf, who provided commentary on the ‘Hoops Tonight’ podcast, the Lakers started talking to the Warriors about perhaps trading the two players.

“I heard that the Lakers called Golden State at some point and offered D’Angelo Russell for Andrew Wiggins.” (9:15)

Although fans may get excited and speculate about such trade rumors, Timpf voiced doubts that this specific deal would ever happen. He said that D’Angelo Russell is regarded as a better player than Andrew Wiggins. Moreover, the Lakers are less likely to seek such a trade because of Wiggins’ poor play this season.
