Before the Super Bowl game, an all-pro player from the Kansas City Chiefs made a statement against his own teammate.

The Kansas City Chiefs are playing for their third Super Bowl since 2019. If Patrick Mahomes is able to win his third ring, it would be one of the best starts to a quarterback’s career in NFL history.

At this point in the season—or rather, when the playoffs begin—every team that is still in the running is dealing with injuries throughout its roster. A 17-game season in the NFL will definitely do that.

Nevertheless, in the lead-up to the Super Bowl, one leader on the Chiefs team, Travis Kelce, released a statement regarding an injured wide receiver who may make his return.
