Breaking: Due to a dispute with Jordan Spieth on the LIV Golf deal, Rory McIlroy “quit” the PGA Tour group chat.

Over the past two years, Rory McIlroy has frequently been at the center of the PGA Tour’s drama; but, the Northern Irishman is now attempting to put the story behind him.

In an attempt to dissociate himself from the current talks with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), Rory McIlroy withdrew from a group chat for players on the PGA Tour.

Although McIlroy has frequently been at the center of the drama among the PGA Tour and their LIV Golf competitors, the Northern Irishman has stepped back since talks to forge a peace agreement between the two began in June. The PGA Tour announced a partnership with Strategic earlier this week, marking the most recent development in the story.
