When Liverpool plays Arsenal, Roy Keane says the players are defending like a “pub team.”

Roy Keane feels neither Liverpool nor Arsenal can defeat Manchester City to win the Premier League, likening their defense in their 3-1 loss to the defense of a “pub team.”

On the brink of halftime, Gabriel’s own goal cancelled out Bukayo Saka’s opening goal. However, Gabriel Martinelli took advantage of a disastrous mistake by Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk to make it 2-1 before Leandro Trossard added a late third goal for the home team.

With two games remaining, Manchester City is five points outside of first place, while Arsenal has closed the gap on leaders Liverpool to only two points as a result of the outcome.

“It’s unbelievable how intense Liverpool was from the first whistle to the last, both with and without possession.
