Jeff Hafley, the head coach of Boston College, resigned from his role on Wednesday to take over as the defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers. Since taking on his new position, Hafley has already begun molding his team by giving Vince Oghobaase, the defensive line coach at Boston College, the same position with the Pack.
Over the last four years, Oghobaase has served as an Eagles coach, working with defensive lineman Marcus Valdez, Cam Horsley, and Donovan Ezeiruaku. Before attending Boston College, he worked with Hafley, UCLA, and Duke while playing in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers.
Oghobaase’s tenure in Chestnut Hill contributed to BC’s 2021 season being third in the country in passing yards allowed (173.5 per game).
