Just in: The New Orleans Saints welcome a fresh transfer wide receiver who is expected to cause havoc with this offense…

NFL insider Ian Rapoport claims that free agent wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown will be signed by the New Orleans Saints for the 2024 NFL season. St. Brown played with the Chicago Bears for the previous two seasons. He is the brother of wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions. He spent four seasons with the Green Bay Packers before joining the Bears.

St. Brown has totaled 63 catches and 928 yards in 60 games played during his first six seasons in the league. Just two touchdown receptions have he ever had in his career, one each with the Bears and the Packers.

He played for the Bears for the previous two seasons on two one-year contracts. For the 2022 season, he signed for slightly less than a million dollars, and for $1.165 in 2023.

In the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Packers selected Notre Dame’s St. Brown with the 207th overall choice. He played for head coach Brian Kelly at Notre Dame, who is currently at LSU.

Derek Carr will throw passes to St. Brown while he is a member of the Saints. Carr led New Orleans to a 9-8 victory last season while amassing 3,878 passing yards.
