Foot Mercato reports that Ajax and OGC Nice have achieved a preliminary deal about the manager Francesco Farioli’s transfer.
In his first season in Ligue 1, Farioli, who moved from Turkey in the summer of 2023, brought Le Gym back to Europe. He has only been in Nice for a single year. Les Aiglons finished well, placing fifth, which is good enough for a spot in the UEFA Europa League for the following season despite a major setback in the middle of the season.
But a revolution is happening. Florent Ghisolfi, the sporting director, has already been revealed to be leaving, and now the manager is also expected to go. According to reports, the Italian and Ajax already have a deal in place. However, before a transaction could be finalized, the Eredivisie side also needed to reach an understanding with Nice.
