INDIA PARK – The WNBA announced today that center Aliyah Boston of the Indiana Fever received the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the week of June 10–16. Player of the Week is an award that Boston has won twice in her career.
During the three games played by Indiana last week, Boston averaged 20.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game in addition to recording three double-doubles. With 15, Boston also into a tie for seventh place in the franchise’s all-time double-double record.
Last Monday, Boston ended with 14 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, one block, and one steal against the Connecticut Sun. Wednesday’s 91-84 victory over the Dream in Indianapolis saw Boston tie a career-high 27 points and grab a game-high 13 rebounds for Indiana. Boston recorded a season-high 14 rebounds, a career-high five blocks, four assists, and 19 points in Sunday’s 91-83 victory over the Sky.
After 15 games in 2024, Boston comes into this week averaging 12.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game. Boston ranks 10th in the WNBA in terms of blocks per game and 12th in terms of rebounds per game.
