On Thursday night, Indiana football secured its thirteenth commitment in the 2025 class when three-star defensive lineman Keishaun Calhoun made his commitment to the Hoosiers. Calhoun, rated by 247Sports as the No. 104-ranked 2025 defensive line prospect and the No. 51 player from Ohio, is the seventh-highest rated IU commit in the class.

On June 18, Calhoun paid a formal visit to Indiana and shortly thereafter issued the call for the Hoosiers. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound player mentioned the ‘new Indiana’ slogan that has inspired the 2025 class when explaining why he was pulled to IU and the coaching staff’s belief in developing a champion in Bloomington.

Keishaun Calhoun, an Ohio recruit, committed to Indiana. Following his official visit to IU this week, the 6-foot-4, 245-pound defensive lineman from Groveport, Ohio’s Madison High School, made a commitment to the Hoosiers.

Over offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, Miami (OH), Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan, and Eastern Kentucky, the three-star recruit choose Indiana.

Calhoun was chosen First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-District as a junior. Calhoun is rated as the 104th defensive lineman in the nation and the 50th top prospect in Ohio by 247Sports.com.
