WNBA Announces Bad News For Diana Taurasi in Recent Update…

Diana Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury received unfavorable news on Friday. The WNBA icon was not included in the top 30 of an early ballot for the All-Star Game.

Ten-time All-Star Taurasi, who is currently in her 21st season, garnered attention last month when she was named to the American Olympic team.

Despite averaging 25.4 points per game, Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale was not able to make it due to the seasoned player’s standing on the squad. Taurasi scores 16.9 points a night on average.

Not that the All-Star vote is any more unbiased. Taurasi was not included in the voting, but six Indiana Fever players were. Nevertheless, Ogunbowale’s Olympic snub was rightfully corrected by fans, who voted for her to be among the All-Stars’ top five.
