Breaking news: Caitlin Clark is brutally shut down by Indiana Fever teammate Aliyah Boston in press conference after awkward exchange with journalists…

The two most prominent players on the Indiana Fever, after their team’s second straight loss to the Seattle Storm, argued awkwardly after the game on Thursday night.

During the post-game press conference, Aliyah Boston ruthlessly silenced Caitlin Clark after she was asked multiple questions and no one noticed Boston.

The rookie sensation then exclaimed, “Ask Aliyah a question!” Boston angrily responded, “No, I’m good!”

After combining for 26 points against the Storm, Boston and Clark were obviously unhappy with the outcome that puts the fever out of the WNBA playoff picture.

Since both Boston and Clark are essential to the future development of Indiana, there have never been any real indications of discord between them.

Since she has been at the vanguard of women’s basketball’s surge in popularity since her time at Iowa, Clark’s debut season has been scrutinized closely.

Boston wore the same shoes that Clark is wearing right now. She was the first overall pick by the Fever in the WNBA Draft of the previous year, after being a standout player at South Carolina.

With Clark’s acquisition, those worries are gone after he was treated like an afterthought in a league desperate to stay relevant.

However, as a unit, the Fever have not yet reaped the benefits usually attributed to Clark.
