Sad news; “Sky’s Angel Reese Opens Up About Heartbreaking ‘Trademark’ That Could Impact Her WNBA Career”…

DEERFIELD, Il. The Chicago Sky resumed their work at practice on Tuesday following their three-game road trip in early July.

After a momentous week in which she broke record after record and earned multiple WNBA honors, Angel Reese is returning to normal. Reese talked about how her player reputation will put the rest of the league on notice as her desired “trademark.”

“A formidable rival. Reese said to reporters during practice on Tuesday, “I want to be known as someone who is] not going to let them down.” Speaking with some of the veterinarians, they remark, “You’re really consistent. You play so hard every day, and I want that to become a well-known brand for me. I want it clear that there are big hopes. I believe it’s crucial that I be able to start that early in my career as a rookie because Angel is going to come out and you can’t take a play off. Furthermore, it’s wonderful to have ties with veterans who understand it, like Nneka [Ogwumike] and Skylar [Diggins-Smith].

On July 7, Reese broke Candace Parker’s WNBA record for the most consecutive double-doubles in league history by recording her 13th straight double-double against the Seattle Storm. It takes extreme consistency to maintain such a high level of production, as the rookie striker pointed out. Reese seems unfazed by the challenge, though. She accepts it and expresses gratitude for the support she has received from motivating people like Parker.

“It’s incredible… The GOAT is Candace Parker. She has always been a huge source of inspiration for me. Since she was at Tennessee, [I have] been keeping an eye on her. I had always wanted to play for Pat [Summitt] in Tennessee when I was younger. I’m so appreciative and fortunate to be able to witness her amazing work and her role as a mother, Reese continued.
