Boston Celtics: Jaylen Brown Reveals Pick in Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese ROTY Debate…

Jaylen Brown, a forward for the Boston Celtics, has chosen to weigh in on what is likely the most contentious issue in the WNBA right now.

The main focus of this is the Rookie of the Year competition between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, who have both established themselves as genuine superstars in their first seasons.

It’s evident now which of these two women Brown is siding with.

Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics chooses Angel Reese over Caitlin Clark.
Recently, a few players were asked to express their choice for the WNBA ROTY award. The Boston Celtics player, Brown, was one of the survey participants, and he was rather explicit about his decision.

To be fair, Brown did qualify his remarks with the phrase “right now,” which could mean that his decision may change in light of the events that transpire over the course of the season. But if the Rookie of the Year trophy was going to be handed out tomorrow, Brown thinks the Chicago Sky forward should win it.

Is There Any Bias Here?
However, there might be some bias on Brown’s part. There are presently rumours that the reigning MVP of the NBA Finals is romantically involved with Kysre Gondrezick, a former player for Chicago. Reese and Gondrezick are good friends, and the three of them were recently spotted together at an NBA Summer League game.

It wouldn’t be shocking if Brown occasionally got to hang out with Reese; however, if the Boston Celtics player had chosen Clark over his pal, that would have made for an unpleasant conversation. Perhaps?
