With regard to the Class of 2027 recruiting season, the Alabama football coaching staff is officially off to a strong start. According to On3 Sports, Ba’Roc Willis declared his decision to commit to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday.
Willis, a linebacker and edge rusher from Moody High School in Moody, Alabama, is not ranked in the Class of 2027. The 6-foot-3, 220 pound rising sophomore turned down offers from Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and other schools in favour of Alabama.
After spending the weekend at Alabama’s Champions Cookout in Tuscaloosa, the linebacker made his selection, but nothing is final because he still has 29 months to sign his letter of intent.
As of now, he is the only committed member of the Crimson Tide’s Class of 2027.
