A stamp at Truist Park honouring Atlanta Braves hero Hank Aaron was revealed…

It was 2021. Superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves had suffered an ACL rupture. In the Atlanta outfield, his absence left a gap, and Alex Anthopoulos set out to fill it in order to save the season.

Outfielders Jorge Soler, Adam Duvall, Joc Pederson, and Eddie Rosario were added as reinforcements at the trade deadline. With the assistance of all of their new players, particularly Jorge Soler, the Braves would go on to win the World Series that season. Now that August 2024 has arrived, Soler is back with Atlanta.

Here is where Jorge Soler belongs.
Few anticipated that Jorge Soler’s 2021 trade from the Kansas City Royals to the Braves would pay off. Having played in 94 games for Kansas City, Soler was, to put it mildly, having difficulty. He was striking.192 with 37 runs batted in and 13 home homers. He hit a switch as soon as he arrived in Atlanta.

He surpassed his Royals career stat line in just 55 games with the Braves. As the 2021 World Series Most Valuable Player, Soler hit.269 with 14 home runs and 33 runs batted in while playing for Atlanta. Despite his brief initial stay in Atlanta, Soler believes he belongs with the Braves.

The Braves supporters will be even more thrilled about Soler’s return to the team after reading his appreciation and sentiments.

“I did think that one day I would be back, but not as soon as I’m back.” According to The Washington Post, Soler said. The right-handed slugger continued, reflecting on the incredible 2021 season, stating, “I’m appreciative that they provided me with the chance in ’21. I felt like they offered me another chance at baseball by bringing me to this team, even though obviously things weren’t going well for me in Kansas City.”

Jorge Soler’s appearance in a Braves uniform will be much different this time around because he has a contract that runs through the 2026 season.
