After acknowledging that Tottenham will require Spence for the upcoming season because to the Premier League team’s heavy football schedule upon their return to Europe, the Spurs manager has now officially acknowledged this.

Since joining Tottenham two summers ago from Middlesbrough, Spence has failed to get into the starting lineup, spending the most of that time on loan at Rennes, Leeds, and Genoa.
The full-back may finally have his big break in North London during the 2024–2025 season, as Postecoglou appears eager to give the defender an opportunity to establish himself.
Because of his versatility as a full-back, the 24-year-old will have an advantage over the Englishman in terms of playing time throughout the year. Though it is unlikely that the defender will overtake Pedro Porro or Destiny Udogie to start for the Spurs, he can attempt to make it difficult for Postcoglou to leave him out of games every week.
