In a heated altercation, Jason Kelce reveals why he PUNCHED his brother Travis in the face and shares the Chiefs star’s indignant response…

Thanks to their well-liked New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis have emerged as two of the most well-known brothers to have played in the NFL, demonstrating their close relationship both on and off the pitch.

But like any brotherhood, the two had their fair share of sibling rivalry growing up, according to recent revelations from Philadelphia Eagles icon Jason.

Tensions occasionally flared up at home as the Kelces appeared to foster their competitive edge before becoming successful in the NFL.

Jason, who announced his retirement from the NFL earlier this year, spoke about a rare instance where he and his brother got into a physical altercation during an appearance on Shaquille O’Neal’s “The Big Podcast.”

During a game of basketball in their backyard, the former centre claimed he once let his frustrations get the best of him and purposefully fouled his younger brother, who was making too many baskets for his comfort. Travis didn’t take too well to this.

During a game of basketball in their backyard, the former centre claimed he once let his frustrations get the best of him and purposefully fouled his younger brother, who was making too many baskets for his comfort. Travis didn’t take too well to this.

“He keeps making it, and there’s nothing I can do to stop it.” The only thing I can think of to stop it, so I foul him.

“To which he replies, “That’s bulls**t, that’s a foul.” I’m thinking, “I don’t see any refs out here, I don’t see anyone calling it.”

“He grabs the ball, hurls it towards me, and it enters the house.” I enter, take him by the shoulder, and give him a blow.

Jason revealed his sibling’s infuriated response, although he insisted that it was only the second time he had punched Travis.

“Listen, every time we would fight,” stated Jason. I had only punched him twice before, at this point. How it got so hot is beyond me. struck him across the face. Previously, each time, he would sob or do something else.

He took one look at me, lifted me off my feet, and gave me such a hard smack on the kitchen floor that the oven came off the tracks. We’re getting into a full-fist battle when I get up.
