It looks like Caitlin Clark will go down as one of the all-time greats in women’s basketball. Despite his turnover issues, rookie guard Clark has improved the Indiana Fever into a postseason contender while also ranking among the league’s finest point guards. However, not everyone is advancing in the world like Clark is. Her partner, Connor McCaffery, achieved great success in his work as well, landing a new position as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at Butler University.
Naturally, in a partnership, a gain for one party also benefits the other. The Fever actress quickly greeted McCaffery on her Instagram story and congratulated her companion on her new position.
“Hooray!” incredibly joyful
The good news for McCaffery and his partner is that his new work won’t require him to relocate far from them. Indianapolis, Indiana, is home to Butler University and is also the base of Caitlin Clark’s Fever. Since navigating distance in a romantic relationship isn’t often easy, neither partner will need to make a significant adjustment in order to accommodate McCaffery’s new employment.
Since their first encounter on campus in Iowa, McCaffery and Clark have remained close friends. Being the son of head coach of the Iowa men’s basketball team Fran McCaffery, the former was a two-sport star for the university’s baseball and basketball teams.
