Marcus Maye, a seasoned safety, was cut by the New Orleans Saints earlier in the offseason. Although his two years with the black and gold were unsatisfactory, he should be given another opportunity somewhere.
Dianna Russini reports that Maye is attracting interest from a number of teams and will visit the Tennessee Titans on Monday.
Reunion was not in the cards for New Orleans. In order to play on the back end of the secondary with Tyrann Mathieu and Jordan Howden, they are trying to replace him with a fresh player.
Maye participated in 17 Saints games. Throughout his two seasons in New Orleans, he battled numerous injuries as well as a ban. At this stage of his career, most teams view him as a depth option.

Mathieu was just granted a two-year extension by New Orleans to remain with the organization. Howden could play a bigger part in 2024 after displaying strong sparks in the previous season.
