Indiana Fever Star Sends Strong Message About Caitlin Clark…

 

It will be the Indiana Fever’s first trip to the WNBA playoffs since 2016. Caitlin Clark, a rookie, has been Indiana’s star player this season, and her teammates appear to be grateful.

Following practice on Tuesday, Fever standout Lexie Hull gave an interview to the media wherein she discussed her views on Indiana’s prospects of making the playoffs. She stated that, considering the Fever’s acquisition of Clark, she and her colleagues were aware that the 2024 season would come with heightened expectations. Hull mentioned that she’s eager to see where the Fever stands in the WNBA playoffs, but she also pointed out that Indiana has already outperformeSince 2022, Hull has been a member of the Fever. Despite sitting on the bench to begin the 2024 season, Hull has been one of Indiana’s most prolific scorers.

 

Hull has been a spark for Indiana since the Fever returned from their WNBA vacation during the Olympic season. The three-year WNBA veteran, who averaged 5.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game this season, is now starting for the Fever. She has been a very effective scorer, hitting 47.8% of her three-pointers and 44.8% of her field goals.
