The University of Alabama’s head football coach, Nick Saban, has left the position. Following a heartbreaking defeat to Michigan, the eventual national champions, in the Rose Bowl, he declared his retirement back in January.
However, not really!
The 72-year-old has no intention of quitting, even though he is no longer involved in roster management, game preparation, or daily operations. Saban is still a major figure in the Crimson Tide program and won’t genuinely retire.
Above all, he actually turned up for work the day after he resigned.
Saban is still employed at Alabama’s football facilities, where he often shows up to show off to everyone by disobeying his own rules and getting his Ferrari painted in an awful way. He is still there.
And there was the game in the spring.
At Bryant-Denny Stadium, Kalen DeBoer led the Crimson Tide onto the field for the first time on Saturday in front of spectators. The sight of someone other than Saban leading the way was a little startling. However, he remained there!
While DeBoer managed every aspect of “game day,” his predecessor was having a rough time with everyone, including their mothers. particularly the newcomers.
All afternoon, Saban was seen with several potential Alabama players.
An athlete in his right mind would decline the chance to meet the all-time greatest college football coach; after all, who is even thinking about playing for the Crimson Tide? Being able to shake his hand and learn that he is still active in the program is undoubtedly useful when recruiting.
As previously stated, Nick Saban intends to continue lending his support to Alabama in any way he can. He retired from football coaching, not from the never-ending, behind-the-scenes work that goes along with it!
