WNBA player who mocked Caitlin Clark delivers heartbreaking message to disheartened new fans…

Guard DiJonai Carrington of the Connecticut Sun delivered a tough message to new WNBA viewers who have been drawn to the league by the exciting rookie class captained by Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark.

Since she took the court, Clark’s play and the treatment she received have dominated the narrative. In the Sun and Fever’s most recent game, Carrington guarded Clark, and it seemed as though Carrington was making fun of Clark for supposedly trying to inflate a foul.

Angel Reese’s egregious foul on Clark during the Chicago Sky’s loss to the Fever brought attention to the league on Monday, and Carrington spoke to the new viewers who had turned into the “W.”

“Unfortunately, we don’t just’shut up and dribble’ here, new fans of AnS. “You chose the incorrect league,” Carrington penned.

Many people responded to her post on X, including Clay Travis, the founder of OutKick.

“Don’t watch us play basketball, said the player in the league no one has watched play basketball for nearly 30 years,” Travis posted to X. Some people would rather have a larger portion of a smaller pie than a larger portion of a larger pie, but a lower share. The majority of WNBA players appear to feel that way.

Sadly, this kind of thinking is really typical in real life. It’s a true worldview that is anti-growth, anti-capitalist, and anti-entrepreneurship. You will encounter it in your own life eventually, if you haven’t already. It appears to be pervasive in WNBA culture.”
