With a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds, Clark helped the Fever improve to 6-10 on the year. She stated that notwithstanding a sluggish start to the season, the team is gaining “confidence”. As they defeated the Seattle Storm, the Las Vegas Aces welcomed back Chelsea Gray.

With a double-double, Caitlin Clark led the Indiana Fever to their third consecutive win, defeating the Washington Mystics 88-81.
Clark led the Fever in scoring with 18 points and a career-high 12 rebounds, while Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell both scored 22 points.
Clark joked that she would “not get used to it” after recording her second double-double of the year with 12 rebounds and points, but she gave gratitude to her teammates for making it happen.

The rookie guard remarked, “There are times when the ball just bounces a little bit more in your direction.” “I usually have a little more freedom to go after the ball when our big men are probably boxing out and hitting a little bit more because the folks I’m guarding are often coming back on defense. So well done, them.I take great delight in trying to chase it down off the basket and then really go because I think we’re really good when I can get it off the hoop and push in transition.
The Fever (6-10) have won four games at home for the first time since August 2015 in addition to their current three-game winning run.
“The confidence that we’ve been able to build from the last three games is, you know, continue to take a step forward and learn each game, and if we do happen to lose one, how are we going to respond?” stated Clark.
That has also been very important to us. We managed to bounce back from our last defeat and win three games in a row. We’ve improved a lot over the past three games, in my opinion, and we’re still getting better.”
The Mystics (2-13) were missing injured stars Brittney Skyes and Shakira Austin, but Ariel Atkins scored a game-high 27 points.
