Halfway through the season, an OKC Thunder star makes history by joining an elite company.

On Saturday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in a defensive battle royal. The OKC Thunder led late in Minnesota thanks to a huge step-back triple by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was able to propel the team to victory.

After this game, superstars Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spent their post-game remarks teasing one another. Gilgeous-Alexander was creating basketball history on the court, even though the two might start the next big rivalry in the NBA.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has somehow pampered everyone in and around Bricktown to the point where a 30-point effort with six assists, two rebounds, and two steals is viewed as a blah game while shooting only 45 percent from the field, going 1 for 2 from three, and going 12 for 13.
