Tyler Bertuzzi gives the Maple Leafs three gifts on his birthday, including the game-winner over Colorado

It was the perfect way for 29-year-old Tyler Bertuzzi to celebrate his birthday—scoring the game-winning goal to help the Maple Leafs defeat the Colorado Avalanche 4-3. That completed a hat trick, made it a four-game road sweep for the Leafs, and extended their winning run to seven games.

When asked whether it was his finest birthday, he replied, “Hockey wise, I would say so.” It was satisfying. We had a nice road trip; getting eight points and being able to leave on that positive note is fantastic.
